Cocktail Hour Aura Photos – Audra & JC’s wedding at Porta in Asbury Park, NJ

It was so much fun to bring cocktail hour aura photos to Audra & JC’s wedding at Porta! We set up in the area near the bar, and immediately following the ceremony opened up our booth for guests to take part! This set up was perfect for guests to mingle nearby and grab a drink while waiting for the instax film portraits to develop. It was also fun seeing people gather with their portraits by the bar to connect & chat! We were open through the duration of cocktail hour to provide a unique and conversation-sparking activity for the guests at their wedding. It was such a joy seeing everyone sharing their photos with each other, reading our color guide to interpret their pictures, and lining up to hop in the booth for more pictures!

Audra & JC’s portraits came out so beautiful! The gorgeous blues throughout their set show a level of intuition and connectedness from an empathetic level. I loved seeing that dollop of pink on JC’s portrait too! That pink as well as white and yellow in his outward energy shows he was pouring out a perceptible love, affection, joy, and openness on this day. The purples in Audra’s aura showcase an entertaining, charismatic vibe. Which was fitting seeing her beautiful personality in action (even beautifully performing a song during the reception!) What a treat it was to capture their energy on this milestone day of marriage! We always create digital copies of all the portraits we take at weddings.
