We're Jen & Ryan, the husband & wife duo behind I Do Auras. We are wedding photographers by trade and have a passion for creating unforgettable experiences & making people feel at home. Bringing aura photography to the wedding & event industry in our own special way allows us to capture the unique energy surrounding your milestone moments.
We had our first aura photos taken in 2022 on a trip to Salem, MA with some friends. Something about that first experience sparked a fascination with aura photography in the two of us. We started dreaming about how we could combine all of our passions: photography, the specialness of milestone events, creating incredible experiences, and how aura photos can capture your energy.
When we became pregnant with our daughter we set out to document the pregnancy journey in a different kind of way: by having aura photos taken every trimester. This experience was so special for us and we knew we wanted to find a way to bring this unique way of documenting special occasions to the wedding & event industry. There is nothing like the feeling of the energy in the room when all your loved ones are gathered in one place to share in a celebration. Thinking back to our own wedding day, one thing we remember most is how it felt in the reception room with our friends and family all coming together to celebrate us. The energy was palpable, the joy and love and excitement felt infinitely multiplied. We wished there was a way to capture that feeling.
Enter: aura photography. In the truest sense of the word, aura photography allows us to encapsulate all the beauty of your peoples' energy on those core memory kind of days. As a husband-and-wife wedding photography team, in the industry for over a decade, we've been a part of countless celebrations, capturing special moments and creating a photography experience that our couples and their crew deeply enjoy. We saw a need for elevated and unique guest experiences to be brought to the wedding industry
We started I Do Auras to expand on this ability to preserve the specialness of weddings & events on a whole new level. We believe in creating memorable experiences, documenting life's special moments well, and embracing every opportunity to celebrate to the fullest with your loved ones.
